When you visit this property you'll find gentle, gradual grades from the home down to the water's edge. Along the shore you'll discover a stone and bedrock beach scoured clean by the constant flow of the Escanaba River. From the beach you'll see views of wooded, undeveloped shores, rapids and ripples, and rock bluffs.

Mixed woods and meadow adjacent to the water is prime habitat for various species of Michigan wildlife. In fact, you'll wonder who took the time to go throughout the property and trim the cedar trees' lower limbs up to chest height. This is the 'browse line', the height to where deer can reach to enjoy the tender, and presumably tasty, new growth.
