

Nicolet Highlands Area Lake Info
There are many reasons to own vacation real estate or retirement property in Northern Wisconsin, and spending quality time with others on a beautiful Wisconsin lake is usually at the top of the list. There are several excellent Wisconsin lakes close to Nicolet Highlands for fishing, boating, swimming, or just relaxing on the water.
Long Lake
Just to the north from Nicolet Highlands, straddling the Forest County and the Florence County line, Long Lake is 340 surface acres with a maximum depth of 23 feet. Fish species include Walleye, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass and Panfish. A boat launch with dock and fishing pier is located on the north end of the lake. On the east side of Long Lake there is a sand beach with swim raft and lakeside park with picnic shelter.
Fay Lake
North from Nicolet Highlands and northeast of the village of Long Lake, Fay Lake is 282 surface acres with a maximum depth of 10 feet. Fish species include Northern Pike, Walleye, Largemouth Bass and panfish. There is an improved boat ramp on the northwest side of Fay Lake.
Halsey Lake
East of the Village of Long Lake, a few miles north of Nicolet Highlands, Halsey Lake is 512 surface acres with a maximum depth of 10 feet. Fish species include Northern Pike, Walleye, Largemouth Bass and panfish. Boat ramp access to Halsey Lake is located on the north side of the lake.
Morgan Lake
Morgan Lake is located just a few miles east of Nicolet Highlands in the heart of the Nicolet National Forest. At 46 surface acres with a maximum depth of 12 feet, Morgan Lake is a quiet 'no-wake' lake. Fish species include Largemouth Bass and Panfish. There is a small boat ramp and sand beach for swimming on the south side of the lake.
Steven's Lake
Northwest of the Village of Long Lake, Stevens Lake is located across the Florence County line in Forest County, Wisconsin. The surface acreage of the lake is 297 and the maximum depth is 10 feet. Fish species include Northern Pike, Walleye, Largemouth Bass and panfish. There is a boat launch on the west side of Stevens Lake at the Stevens Lake National Forest campground.
