Nicolet Highlands - Florence County ATV & Snowmobile Trails
Florence County, Wisconsin has over 150 miles of ATV trails and over 180 miles of snowmobile trails. The Florence County ATV trail system connects to ATV trails in Marinette County, Wisconsin and Iron County, Michigan. As for snowmobiling, besides running up to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the neighboring Wisconsin counties of Marinette and Forest also have hundreds of miles of groomed, maintained trails.
Maintained by the Florence County Snowmobile Club, The Blue Ox snowmobile and all terrain vehicle trails provide access in to the beautiful back country of Florence County. Additionally, for snowmobiling there are hundreds of miles of unplowed forest roads in the Nicolet National Forest. Whether summer or winter, Florence County's scenic trails wind through hardwood and pine forests, over rolling hills, and past lakes, rivers and streams.
